Ron Adkins
Seven years ago Ron Adkins could barely walk; his heart was weakened by disease. Then came the heart transplant that saved his life and has him walking much farther than before.
Ron is a U.S. Postal Employee at the Seattle Processing and Distribution Center.
For several years, Ron served as the Senior Combined Federal Campaign Loaned Executive for the U. S. Postal Service; raising millions of dollars for worthy charities that help thousands in need in our communities, the nation and the world.
Little did he know that someday, he would be the recipient of a donor heart and would realize a new chance at life. Ron, like thousands of federal employees know the importance of reaching out to the community through the Combined Federal Campaign
