Ralph Lee Named as 2008 Chair for the King County Combined Federal Campaign

The Seattle Federal Executive Board announced the selection of Ralph Lee as Chair of the King County Combined Federal Campaign. Mr. Lee, the Regional Director for the U.S. Bureau of the Census will lead 1,000 federal employee volunteers in an effort to raise $3.15 million for charity in 2008.

The Combined Federal Campaign is the largest charitable giving workplace effort in the world; raising over $275 million in 2007 for local, national and international charities. King County Federal Employees gave over $3.122 million dollars in 2007 to support health and human services locally and around the world.

King County Federal Employees have been honored in past years by the White House for having the highest average gift per donor in the nation!

Federal employees in King County gave an average donation of $450.00 per giver in 2007.
