A Message from Your 2011 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Chair

I want to sincerely thank all those employees who have submitted their pledge through the CFC this year. As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the CFC, you have once again demonstrated your caring and generosity witnessed by the already $2.65 million pledged. That’s 86% of our goal.

But we have a ways to go to reach our target of $3.1 million.

As we approach the holiday season and the close of the 2011 effort, I want to appeal to all of you who are still considering making a pledge through the CFC.

With unemployment numbers at an all-time high; a record number of families in line at food banks and in need of medical assistance; there are unprecedented challenges in our communities that we can address through our giving.

CFC 2011 Chair David Suomi

Your payroll pledge; large or small can make a huge impact on someone’s life in the coming year. If your agency has the Employee Express option, you can make your paperless pledge on line.  It’s simple, fast and efficient.

King County employees have a long tradition of supporting their communities through the CFC. Please take a moment to select your favorite organizations from over 2,800 charities. Thank you all for your generosity and your willingness to reach out and raise hope for thousands.

Let’s make 2011 a record year of CFC giving!

David Suomi, Chair
